Booking.com, world’s biggest and fastest growing Hotel-Reservation-System wants to grow even faster. To realize this ambitious goal, the Priceline daughter now rents hotel data from DELTA CHECK.

Booking.com already has contracted more than 480.000 hotels – remarkably more than nearly all hotel data suppliers can offer. In the absence of any competitor DELTA CHECK, owner of the world’s biggest hotel database, has closed the deal.

With more than 1 million hotels listed, DELTA CHECK’s „Global Accommodation Reference Database“ is deemed to be the leading global reference for hotel data: „When all other sources are finished, we can easily pack more heat with another 500,000 hotels“, says Daan Wolff, GM of BoldData, the exclusive DELTA CHECK listbroker for Benelux, „that’s how we develop unrivalled market dominance for our customers.“

The fight for market share indeed is no longer decided by products as they are getting more and more comparable and exchangeable – and unsuitable for strong competition. Thus today data is increasingly separating the losers from the winners on the markets.
